Last Holiday
In my last holiday, Im unfortunately doesnt go anywhere. But who say stayed at home was not fun. Hello my name is Serafino Emmanuel, last year i spent my holiday with my family. On the first week, i spent my time doing my usual daily routine. I woke up on 6 am a lot late than when i usually wake up in school day. After had a bath, im either reading some book, watching youtube, or just draw random thing. I've spent lot of my holiday just drawing because that's one of my favourite thing to do. My daily routine also include some chore like cleaning the dish and wash clothes.
Im usually just spent my holiday just doing that. Im also likes to cook my own food. I likes to ook mash potato, espeially with toppings in it. My favourite dish that i love to cook other than mash potato are fried chicken. First of all, All the dish didnt took much effort and time to make. The bad thing about them is just they very unhelthy to eat on daily basis. Because most of them was fried and contain a lot of fat. But if you just eat it for occasion, i didnt see any harm in it.
Here my recipe for a good mash potato that i like to make. You just need 2-3 potato, butter, milk, cheese(optional), salt. First you need to boil water that mixed with salt. After the water boil add some sliced potato to the boiling water. Make sure to keep watch the potato until it was soft and looks goldy. After that crush the potato while mix it with 2 spoon of butter and some milk. Make sure not put too much milk to the pan. The hot potato will melt the butter, so if you want to add cheese you should add it too. Im usually eat these with some nugget and rice.
On the day of Christmas, first weattend the christmas mass in St.Melania. I go to the mass with my mother and my sister. after the mass we celebrate Christmas with my Father at our home. There a lot of great food thats my mom cook. Likes roasted beef with teriyaki sauce, french fries, cendol, chicken curry. We had a good time that evening. Even without any gift.
On the next day, we heard some bad news from the school from yesterday. One of SMAN 3 teacher family member died. So a lot of parent from X-3 want to sent their condolence. My mother and a few other parent went to visit that teacher house, inluding me. I forgot the real date either the next day or that day. We visit her to sent some condolence and sent some money we could gathered from parent that also want to sent their condolences but cant make it there.
So that the story of my holiday till Christmas, it was mostly fun and i enjoy it alot. But i likes my last week of holiday better. Here the story.
So by the time of New Year i already spent most of my time just doing my basic daily routine. But on New Year, we(include my mom and sister) spent the night on the bishop residence. After attending N ew Year mass, we got invited by the church to have a celebration in the bishop residence. Because we only have a motorbike so its only fit 2 people. So i go there with the bishop in the bishop car. After arriving there a lot of very delicious foodwas served. Unfortunately im almost full on that time. So i just eat 1 portion and a few drink. The food that was served was pork with soy suce, pork curry, lemper, sausage, meatball, fruit dessert, pork rendang. The bishop residence also located on a hill, so we can see the firework from the city. After 12 o'clock we going home. It was a nice experience.
So after that i dont think i will have any eventfull experience on the last week of holiday. But fortunately i was wrong. Im invited by friend to travel across the city. We visit the Asia-Africa Confrence Museum, Schoemaker Museum on Grand Preanger, The City Square and Twin Tower, the City Hall unfortunately closed for cleaning, Yamaha Music Store my friend was a great pianist, and on the afternoon we went to ITB. We get to touring across the university. My friend and i walk across the city just to go to all this place. We also goes to some obsecure place like the tomb of the founder of bandung, some mall behind the city square, and a lot of street. It was a really great experience.
So thats it. That was my holiday. An that show you, that holiday doesnt just mean spent a lot of money going to somewhere. But just spent it as you like.
